i have a supercharged 1997 Buick Riviera the key fob and all the gauges stopped working at the same time could the two be related if so how do i fix it?
Answer: Yes, these problems could all be related, especially if they happened at the same time on your Buick. The first thing to do is check all the fuses. There are several fuse panels on this car, be sure to check all of them. Another possible cause is a problem with a module that controls both these systems.
The BCM (Body Control Module) is what controls the keyless entry system and sends data to the dash for gauge information. Without a scanner to read actual BCM data, there is really no way to diagnosis the module yourself.
