Great blog guys. The information on the catalytic converter helped me out. Replaced it with Ford Motorcraft parts and the check engine light is out and no more bogging down when hitting the gas on the highway.

how do you remove the exhaust from the headers to remove an engine from a 1962 Thunderbird. Are there any tricks. These retaining nuts are stubborn and hard to get to.

If they are stubborn- like stuck, then you are going to need to use a torch to heat them up. Hard to reach means you will probably have to use a hand wrench. Takes longer, but if that is the only way, then that is it.
