It stalled out after driving 2 blocks. Took it to a mechanic who drained it…but must not have done a good enough job because next time I got in it stalled after 30 minutes. While I was waiting I tried running it to get whatever remained of the diesel out, but the car eventually would start back firing and puttering the more I did this…so I just shut it off. Unfortunately the mechanic around here are not the best. Do you think it messed up the fuel injectors, filters, and spark plugs?

Yes, diesel fuel will cause havoc to the fuel system.
Just draining it or trying to run it out will not fix it. You need to remove the gas tank and drain it. Replace the fuel filter. Clean the fuel injectors or replace them, replace the spark plugs, change the oil.

Engine oil was mixed with coolant, Coolant in radiator is ok. No mixing there. Just had the pushrods and lifters replaced. Not sure what the problem could be. Its a 1996 F150 5.0L with about 82K miles.

MyE350 super duty most definitely has a bad head gasket. A test of coolant showed exhaust in the coolant, losing coolant, the whole 9. We have been babying it as a 6k+ repair bill isn’t happening. Just noticed froth in the oil but no smoke yet and engine light is intermittent still. Running fine for now. Any tips on what we can do to prolong the life without getting the head machined? Will sealant tabs work on a V10? Will it hurt to try? Any advice appreciated.
